they should have had more of this kind
There are plenty of good clean comics out there. Brian Regan for one. The thing is that comedy/topics back then were a lot more free. There were numerous racial/sexual/etc references that wouldn't be considered clean today. Yes, there are a lot of "shock" comics now the use profanity, etc. Bu
t in today's world, you can't say two words without potentially stepping on someone's toes and them getting upset. There is always someone or group that will be overly offended.
